My Granny, who went to college at age 48 after my grandfather died, graduated summa cum laude and taught 1st grade for 12 years (after running an Esso station with my grandfather for 20+ years...I get my entrepreneurial spirit from her). And God, for giving me so many ideas that help our clients get business, which in turn sustains our small company's existence. Tip for making your home inviting? Lose the clutter. Personal design style? Love mixing old with contemporary. Piece of furniture you can’t live without? My leather chair. Most overused expression? It is what it is. Street you wish you lived on? Ocean Boulevard, IOP. Music always on your iPod? Bootleg version from Wavefest 97 of Wilco and Son Volt. Everyone thought Uncle Tupelo would re-unite that night and Jeff Tweedy kept pretending to introduce someone on stage but alas, Jay Farrar never came on stage. Hobbies & Passions? My girls Cameron and Reece and my wife Jenny are my passions. And work. I love what I do. Local restaurant you love? Magnolia's In the movie of your life, what songs would be on your soundtrack? Live and Let Die, Our House, Isn't She Lovely. If you had to eat only one thing the rest of your life, what would it be? My Aunt Eunice's macaroni and cheese. What's the nicest thing anyone has ever said to you? After our very first home show, our clients were blown away at the crowds and showered more accolades on me than I've ever experienced. Things you are willing to splurge on?My home. It's an investment after all. First thing you'd do if you won the lottery? Figure out how to sustain the winnings so my kids and their kids would never have to worry about money. Movie you could watch a million times? Saving Private Ryan. Dream vehicle? An RV. I plan to show the rest of the country to my daughters so they don't grow up sheltered here in little ole' Charleston. What's the most comforting thing about and/or in your home? Knowing my family is there waiting for me. I cant wait to get home every night. |

Three adorable rescue mutts...Idgy Fedgood (choc. lab/pit bull mix), Shep the SoulMan (German shepherd/malamute mix), and Moose the Wondermutt (Australian shepherd/lab mix) Favorite color? peacock feather blue Biggest inspiration? My mom...she is such a saint! She does so much for so many people, always with a sweet smile. I strive to be as good-hearted and compassionate as her. Historical figure you'd invite to dinner? I'd invite my childhood hero Amelia Earhart over to discuss her fateful venture over veggie lasagna. Cure for a stressful day?
